1/2 cup half and half
4 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate, chopped

Preparation

  1. Bring half and half to simmer in heavy small saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add chocolate; whisk until melted and smooth. Cool.
