Chilled ale, porter or stout
Nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Put the sugar in a 12-ounce tumbler and add just enough water to dissolve it. Fill with well-chilled ale, porter or stout. No ice is used. Dust the top of the drink with a little nutmeg.
