Black Pepper Butter

Ingredients

225 g butter, at room temperature [16 tablespoons (2 sticks)]
25 g sugar (2 tablespoons)
12 g kosher salt (1 tablespoon)
8 g finely ground black pepper (2 teaspoons)

Preparation

  1. Combine the butter, sugar, salt, and pepper in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes, or until the butter is fluffy, the sugar is dissolved, and the mixture is homogenous. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for an additional minute. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
