Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon soy sauce
3/4 cup half-and-half
The Lady’s House Seasoning

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the mushrooms, sprinkle in the flour, and stir well. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring as needed. Add the soy sauce, then slowly stir in the half-and-half. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens. Season to taste with House Seasoning. This sauce is delicious with steak.
