Ingredients

1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
1/3 cup walnuts, toasted lightly and chopped
1 pint super-premium vanilla or coffee ice cream

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, simmer maple syrup 5 minutes and stir in cranberries and walnuts. Remove pan from heat and let sauce cool. Scoop ice cream into 4 sundae dishes and spoon sauce over it.
