12 3/8-inch-thick slices French bread baguette
1 tablespoon olive paste (olivada)*
Minced fresh thyme
8 radishes, thinly sliced
  • Olivada is an olive spread which is available at Italian markets and specialty foods stores. If unavailable, use pureed, brine-cured black olives.

Preparation

  1. Grill or toast bread. Spread 2 side with olive paste. Sprinkle with thyme. Top with radish slices and serve.
