Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) light rum
1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Superfine sugar to taste if desired
Chilled club soda or seltzer water
Lime wedge and strip of orange zest for garnish

Preparation

  1. In a tall glass filled with ice combine rum, Cointreau or Triple Sec, lime juice and sugar and top off with soda or seltzer water. Stir drink well and garnish with lime wedge and orange zest.
