Ingredients

1 cup sugar syrup
12 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1 1/2 cups lemon juice
1 quart water
Crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Put sugar syrup, cloves and cinnamon in a small saucepan and simmer together for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and let stand for one hour. Strain and combine with the water in a pitcher. Stir, and pour into tumblers over crushed ice.
