Ingredients

3 cardamom pods*, lightly crushed
2 1/2 cups plain yogurt
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 cup water
Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg; ground cardamom

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Remove seeds from cardamom pods (discard pods) and transfer to a blender. Add yogurt, sugar, nutmeg, and water and blend until smooth. If drink is too thick, thin with water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Serve over ice in tall glasses.
