Ingredients

2 cups white wine vinegar
8 serrano chiles, pricked with a fork
1 tablespoon kosher salt

Preparation

  1. Bring the vinegar to a simmer in a small saucepan. Add the chiles and salt, remove from the heat, and transfer to a glass bottle or jar. Let sit at room temperature for 8 hours before refrigerating.
